Hurry Fox is a I don't really have the patience for graphic/text/menu-driven adventure games these days (Sierra Online games being something of an exception, but I don't play a whole lot of those, either). But that's not to say I don't admire some aspects of them. It's fun to see what they came up with graphics-wise to represent the world they are trying to create.

And PC-6001mkII graphic adventure games have the potential to be very nicely done, if they code the game to use the full 15-color palette. While the resolution is lower than its full-powered peers, those were limited to 8 colors. Hurry Fox is one of those games that pushes your color palette. On the other hand, if you don't have a monitor that supports the larger palette, it can really bring down your game play. Fortunately, I am not one of those people lacking the right monitor, so here are some screenshots showing off this animal-rich adventure in the thick of winter.

The game came with a bonus item - a notepad with the game's branding on it. Seems like you could get a sweatshirt with the branding on it, too! It's like someone just discovered marketing.
