Cobra Hunter and Marine Attack come together to give you extra value - two games in one package. I used to get some games that way on my Commodore 64 back in the day, they were usually solid games but not typically ground-breaking games, often cherry-picking the best titles from the UK library of software that otherwise wouldn't have made the US (Pecos Pete and Pipeline II, Kane and The Human Race jump to mind). As far as I know, these are local Japanese titles, I am not sure how they decided to release them as a bundle because they seem like they could stand on their own as decent purchases. Cobra Hunter has you walking around the jungle (or forest), digging traps for snakes to fall into, and then rushing to fill the traps back up before the snakes can escape. It's very much the same mechanism seen in Heiankyo Alien for the VIC-1001. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Marine Attack is a deep-sea adventure where you have to shoot the baddies that come for you from above as well as the sides. There appears to be some sort of goal as you progress your way up the map on the right-hand side. I thought I was doing alright getting up to level 6, but that's pretty far from the end! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The box artwork is a fun, if improbable, mash-up of concepts of the two games. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
