I've had this game multiple times on multiple platforms. For the time being, I am only keeping the SMC-777C version, but someday I'd like to get either the matching box, or the complete MZ-1500 version.

As you might guess from the title and the box, this graphical adventure is played by a host of anthropomorphic vegetables. I guess my time in Japan has worn my defenses down, because I see the cuteness in the sloppily drawn characters. It's a well-known and popular game in Japan, and although I'd never heard of it, it apparently even got a release in the US on the NES.

I've never gotten too far in this game, one time making it to the second tape but these photos are all from the first. You travel to and around town, trying to help people and persuade them to help you on your quest to rescue Princess Tomato from the evil King Kabocha.
