There are many things that can be done on the Sharp X1 Turbo Z, and one of those things is running CP/M and compiling C programs for it. I picked up a legit copy of CP/M designated as being for the X1 Turbo series, and Lifeboat's C programming language for use on CP/M (I believe the C compiler would work on non-Turbo versions of CP/M). I was a little hesitant about this one at first. I couldn’t tell if I had a few bad disks or if there was something wrong with a drive or the controller, but I’m growing a little more confident that the disks were at fault and the computer is fine. 続き⇒ |

This is another part-TV, part-monitor, but unlike most of this variety, this one is from Hitachi, not NEC. It's a lovely red color, but depending on the viewing angle, there are some obvious scuffs to the body. 続き⇒ |
